Every project begins with a visit to your property. A member of our team meets with you on-site to discuss your goals, take measurements of the proposed work area, and get a clear picture of what you’re looking for in terms of style, color, and pattern. From there we develop a design that accounts for the full scope of the installation including any surrounding landscaping elements such as plantings, mulch, and edging.
Once the agreement is signed and the project is scheduled, our crew arrives and gets to work. The first phase is excavation of the project area to the depth required to accommodate the base material, bedding sand, and pavers, with the finished paver surface sitting flush with the surrounding lawn or landscape. A properly prepared and compacted base is the foundation of a paver structure that stays level and performs well for the long term, and it is where we invest serious care on every installation.
With the base compacted and ready, our crew begins laying pavers in the pattern specified in your design. Once all full pavers are placed, we use a concrete saw to cut pavers along the perimeter as needed to fit cleanly within the dimensions of the structure. Snap edging is then installed along the perimeter to lock everything in place and keep the structure tight over time.
The final phase begins with sweeping polymeric sand into the joints between pavers, followed by a light blow-off to clear the surface and push remaining sand fully into the joints. The entire structure is then misted with water and allowed to dry before a second water application is applied. While that cures, our crew completes all surrounding finish work including any turf repairs, landscaping touch-ups, and site cleanup. Within 24 to 48 hours your new patio, walkway, or driveway is ready for use.
